Happy NYFW! Today is a super condensed version of all the festivities for FW20. I feel like this years first docket of shows snuck up on me. But there were, of course, my usual faves. From Caroline Herrera to Naeem Khan and Ulla Johnson.

Below are my 3 key takeaways from the shows. These trends are ones I'll be watching for this season.
Green
Green is a great fall color and I love it but it's not easy to find every season so I'm super excited to see it held in high regard; like the above number by Ulla Johnson
Winter White
Noon by Noor was back this year and I just love their palette. They rocked white through out there show and I hope that this white cape that they feature will be in a store near me.

The Usual Suspects
Plaid. Black. Animal print. They are fall staples. All were on the runway. In leather. In knit. In jackets and coats, dresses, shirts, even jumpsuits.
I'm especially excited for this back to black movement. Being the lover of black that I am, the hometown kid, LaQuan Smith, killed it with his show.
